Vladimir

My name is Vladimir and now I am 23 years old. I grew up in Moscow, Russia, where I have received my school education and finished two years of my first university program. I have the Cum Laude high school diploma and very good state examination results which allowed me to enroll to one of the best economics and finance programs in the country. There I successfully finished two years out of four (with the overall GPA 8.58/10) and then decided to drop out in order to move to Europe. Now I am in my third year of the interdisciplinary PPE + History bachelor program in Utrecht University.


Since childhood I have had a lot of experience with English language. I participated in several international summer camps, studied for a few months in an American preparatory school - and my first bachelor`s in Moscow was taught entirely in English as well (it was a double degree program with the University of London). I have decently scored on international English-based tests (IELTS 8.0, SAT 1520/1600).

Beginning in high school, I have possessed a strong interest in quantitative subjects - such as calculus and economics. However, I am also curious about other disciplines that study the society and its challenges.

Ervaring:
I have started my tutoring path in the beginning of 2023, when I took two online students to help them with maths exam preparations. One of them had to take a state exam in Russia, while another one prepared for entrance exams in an Italian university. During my more than four years of studies in the university, I have also helped a lot my fellow students with a diverse set of subjects - from Calculus and Statistics to Economics and Accounting.

During the winter of 2024/5 I worked as a student assistant for the Microeconomics course at my program in Utrecht University. There I had to help first year students with their current study progress and to answer their questions before the exam.
